Emily West

When words fail, music has helped Emily West find connection in beautiful ways. She loves sharing her passion with others and helping them experience the same healing she’s found through plucking harp strings. Emily is fresh off completing her Master of Music in Music Performance from the University of Colorado Boulder, but she’s had experience instructing new musicians since high school. For her performance work, Emily has received a plethora of prestigious awards and recognitions, taking first prize in the Jan Pennington Gray Harp Competition (2023-24), the International Clara Schumann Competition, the London Classical Music Competition, and more. She is an often-requested guest performer at local churches and a go-to substitue for area orchestras. When not performing, Emily enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, and finding inspiration from her musical muse Lara Somogyi.
