Dave Martin

Dave Martin has more than three decades of experience as a recording engineer, producer, and bassist in Nashville, Tennessee. He’s more than earned his place within the Western Swing Hall of Fame and the International Western Music Association’s Board of Directors. Dave regularly performs on various stages across Fort Wayne with bands including the Sweetwater All Stars, Three Rivers Big Band, and more. His favorite collaborations are with his wife Carolyn Martin, an award-winning musician in her own right. When it comes to his musical influences, Dave loves the swinging sounds of the Basie Band, the humor of Spike Jones and PDQ Bach, and the sheer perfection of Ella Fitzgerald. When not plucking away at the bass strings, Dave can be found reading, hiking, or riding his bike.
