Christian Urizar

Originally from Rhode Island and raised in Guatemala City, Christian’s musical journey began early with classical piano studies at the National Music Conservatory of Guatemala. Christian holds degrees in Piano Performance and Music Technology from Purdue University Fort Wayne. He performed in the InterHarmony International Music Festival in Italy as a soloist. As a pianist in the PFW Wind Ensemble, he has also toured cities in France, Italy, Switzerland, and the United States. His performances have earned him solo awards in the Hoosier Auditions and top honors in concerto competitions.

In addition to his classical training, Christian has a strong background in popular music. He has been an active performer in various bands for many years, playing across a range of genres. Christian is passionate about music production, composition, and sound engineering. In his free time, he enjoys watching sports, playing video games, and cooking. He currently teaches piano to students of all ages and enjoys playing and collaborating with friends in the local music scene.
