Andrew Nesler-Davis
Andrew Nesler-Davis’s remarkable performance résumé depicts a sought-after musician dedicated to giving back and sharing what he has learned with the world. He holds a MMus (Distinction) in Piano Performance from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, studying under the renowned Mei Yi Foo. Andrew’s most recent appearances include the Gene Marcus Piano Camp and Festival (Fort Wayne), The Exploratorium (San Francisco, CA), and the BBC Cardiff live broadcast of “Singer of the World” (Cardiff, UK). An ardent collaborator, he served as Music Director for the Transgress Opera in Cardiff and enjoys working with others on projects such as shadow puppetry, silent film, chamber music, and ballet. Andrew is no stranger to bringing music into new homes in Fort Wayne. He co-authored and administered two unique music education curricula that, in just three years, reached more than 1,000 young and disabled students in schools in underserved areas. Andrew believes music is about so much more than making or listening to sound waves, it’s about listening to ourselves, to those around us, and to the world we live in.
