Andrew Budd

Given his musical upbringing, Andrew Budd’s love for music education should come as no surprise. He’s been singing and playing piano for as long as he can remember, inspired by his parents, who are both music educators. Andrew joined his mother’s children’s choir Young Voices and then began taking voice lessons in high school. After graduating from Ball State University with a degree in vocal/general music education, Andrew began directing the choral and show choir programs at Northrop High School. He says he loves the aesthetic experience of creating something beautiful out of many different voices. Andrew is always looking for new opportunities to perform himself, singing with organizations such as Summit City Music Theater. When he’s not cheering on his students, Andrew cheers on his favorite Indiana sports teams, including the Colts, Pacers, and Indiana University Hoosiers.
