This engaging, joyful, and therapeutic group is designed for adults curious about learning the ukulele. Participants will gather in a supportive teaching environment with the added benefit of setting therapeutic goals such as fostering social connections, enhancing communication, or improving emotional well-being.
Sessions may include lessons on basic ukulele chords and strumming patterns, relaxation and grounding exercises, opportunities to learn and sing songs, and a chance to practice songwriting and improvisation. The ukulele will serve as a medium for self-expression and discovery, allowing participants to connect with others while working toward their own personal growth. Group collaboration will help build a sense of community, and participants are encouraged to celebrate their peers’ achievements together, no matter how small.
