The Summit City Flute Choir is designed for intermediate and advanced flutists who want to expand their musical skills while performing in a collaborative ensemble setting. Students will have the opportunity to develop their technique, musicianship, and confidence while creating a unique ensemble sound with fellow flute players.
Throughout the session, students will explore a variety of flute choir repertoire while strengthening tone quality, intonation, rhythm, balance, blend, and musical expression. Rehearsals focus on ensemble listening, following a conductor, and working together to create polished and engaging performances.
Whether students are looking to enhance their school band experience, continue developing their flute skills, or enjoy making music with other passionate musicians, the Summit City Flute Choir provides an encouraging environment for growth and creativity. The session concludes with a performance for family and friends, celebrating the dedication, progress, and artistry of each musician.
