Strings of Pearl

In this daytime beginning strings class, students will learn to play the violin, viola, or cello in a group class setting. No prior experience is necessary. Taught by Emily Mondok, a homeschooling mom of 6 and Philharmonic musician, students will learn to identify the parts of the instruments and how to care for them, use proper playing technique, read musical notation, perform in front of an audience, and practice the discipline needed to master the instrument all while making friends. This is semester one of this course. Students must commit to both fall and spring semesters.
