The Pearl Arts Orchestra is designed for beginning to intermediate string students who are ready to experience the excitement of making music together in an ensemble. Open to violin, viola, cello, and bass players, this class provides a welcoming and supportive environment where students build confidence while developing essential orchestral skills.
Throughout the session, students will strengthen their tone, intonation, rhythm, bow technique, ensemble listening, and musical expression through engaging rehearsals and age-appropriate repertoire. Students will also learn how to follow a conductor, perform as part of a section, and work collaboratively to create a unified orchestral sound.
Whether students are continuing lessons at Pearl Arts or looking to gain additional ensemble experience, the Pearl Arts Orchestra offers a fun and encouraging opportunity to grow as musicians while making lasting friendships. The session concludes with a performance for family and friends, celebrating each student’s progress and the joy of making music together.
