Our music therapy group is a safe and supportive space designed to help young children cope with stress, grief, and loss. Sessions offer a unique and interactive environment through active music-making, where participants can release emotions, process trauma, and develop coping strategies in a compassionate group setting.
Led by a board-certified music therapist, weekly sessions may include improvised music, guided relaxation, lyric analysis, songwriting, group drumming, musical and visual art experiences, and receptive music listening. All of these are designed to help encourage emotional expression, personal growth, self-reflection, positive social relationships, and coping strategies for young people as students continue their journey toward emotional healing and resilience.
