The Intermediate Guitar Ensemble is designed for students with at least one year of guitar experience who are ready to expand their skills in a collaborative ensemble setting. Students will strengthen their technique, musicianship, and confidence while performing a variety of engaging repertoire with fellow guitarists.
Throughout the session, students will refine chord transitions, strumming and picking techniques, rhythm, note reading, music theory, and ensemble performance skills while exploring music from a variety of styles. Rehearsals emphasize listening, collaboration, musical expression, and performance preparation, helping students become more confident and versatile musicians.
Whether students are continuing their guitar studies or looking for additional ensemble experience beyond private lessons, the Intermediate Guitar Ensemble provides a welcoming environment to grow as performers while making music together. The session concludes with a performance for family and friends, celebrating each student’s progress and accomplishments.
