Hailey Lapierre

Whether wielding her violin bow or her percussive mallet, Hailey Lapierre knows how to craft music that brings out a listener’s emotion. Her family breathes music, from her parents who played percussion and flute, to her great grandfather who played clarinet and saxophone. At nine years old, she began practicing violin, picking up percussion a few years later in 8th grade. Now, she gets to share her love for music with her husband Freddie, whose instrument of choice is the bassoon. Hailey grew up in Fort Wayne. She attended Manchester University to earn her bachelor’s degree in music education. When she’s not teaching, you’ll often find Hailey performing with the Fort Wayne Area Community Band. She also loves to read, draw, and listen to her favorite pop artists Billie Eilish and Taylor Swift.
