Kathleen Kemme
Kathleen Kemme has more than 20 years of experience as a K-6 classroom teacher, and she understands better than anyone that to continue teaching is to never stop learning. After graduating from Colorado College with a degree in dance, she pursued graduate degrees and certifications from DePaul University, Purdue University Fort Wayne, and the College of the New Rochelle. Kathleen also studied music at the University of Saint Francis and with the Fort Wayne Suzuki program. You can watch her perform with the Fort Wayne Philharmonic Club Orchestra program.
Watching her own four children grow into confident and capable performers, Kathleen believes music has the power to develop the body, mind, and spirit. She’s also seen firsthand how the skills and habits required for musical success translate to success in many other areas of life, including academics and sports. In her free time, Kathleen enjoys rock climbing, cooking, and working in her garden.
