Kelly Cheshier
After more than 33 years teaching music in schools, Kelly Cheshier is ready for her next chapter – teaching private lessons. She recently retired as band director at Carroll Middle School, and she continues to make the most of every opportunity to share her love for singing with everyone. Being born into a musical family, Kelly began belting praise songs in church at just 5 years old. Her dad served as band director with Manchester Community Schools, her mom is an amazing pianist, and her brother plays the trumpet and piano.
In college, Kelly joined Ball State University’s Chamber Choir, becoming one of the first freshman accepted into the group. Some of her personal favorite musicians include Christian artists Sandi Patty and Mandisa, but Kelly also enjoys music from Ariana Grande, Bette Midler, Lionel Richie, Whitney Houston, and Bon Jovi. When not teaching or performing at church, Kelly loves to make jewelry, crochet, watch British TV shows, and try new baking recipes with her daughter.
