Jason Pandelidis
For more than two decades, Jason Pandelidis has found joy in singing loud for all to hear. Originally from York, Pennsylvania, Jason grew up watching the church choir with his grandfather. His other grandfather gently hummed while cleaning teeth, earning her the nickname “the singing dentist.” Jason obtained his Bachelor of Music from Susquehanna University in Pennsylvania, choosing then to focus his master’s studies on vocal performance, earning himself a degree from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Before moving to Fort Wayne, Jason directed high school choir for two years in Spring, Texas.
Jason can regularly be found teaching and performing part-time for Heartland Sings with his partner Alejandra. A peek at his music streaming playlists would reveal his love for classic artists like Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, Chicago, Styx, Guster, and Weezer. For Jason, music is an opportunity to convey complex emotions in a way no other art form can. Outside of the fine arts, Jason enjoys board games, video games, Dungeons & Dragons, Renaissance Fairs, and other traditionally “nerdy” endeavors.
