Parker Pace

You can regularly find Parker Pace performing at his alma mater, Purdue University Fort Wayne, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in music performance. He has spent the past few years teaching in a professional capacity, but he’s also done quite a bit of informal teaching for his friends and colleagues along the way. Parker loves to examine the way that musical expression changes depending on the context and backgrounds of the musicians. He attributes his musical success to his favorite saxophonist and mentor Dr. Otis Murphy. When he’s not working the reed of a saxophone, you can find Parker wielding a racquet in racquetball, a sport his father helped him fall in love with many years ago.
