Summer Camps: Jumpstart Beginning Band

We are excited to host our jumpstart beginning band camp for students of ages 9-17 Monday, August 24 through Thursday, August 27 from 9:00am to 11:00am. This camp will be FREE to attend! Registration is available through My Music Staff. If you do not already have a My Music Staff account, you can create one here. At this camp, you will learn a new band instrument and play it in a large ensemble setting. No experience is necessary in reading music or playing instruments, but you must provide your own instrument.

Jesse Evans will be teaching this camp. With over 20 years of experience teaching middle and high school bands, Jesse is a passionate music educator. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Valparaiso University and a Master’s degree in Music Education from Boston University. We are looking forward to hosting this wonderful opportunity for students to learn an instrument of their choosing!
