Promotion: Rachel Gripp, Manager of Finance and Academy Programs

Pearl Arts is pleased to announce the promotion of Rachel Gripp, previously serving as Administrative Assistant. She now takes on the role of Manager of Finance and Academy Programs.

“I am so proud to be involved in Pearl Arts. I deeply believe in the transformation that music can have on young lives and its importance. I love music for its power to connect hearts and people in a way no other art form can. I have always been involved with music, and my desire to become a performing musician started in middle school band.

I continued that passion through most of my life, including earning a Bachelor of Music degree and a Master of Music degree at Ball State University. Even post-grad and working, I maintain my passion for performance as Principal oboe for La Porte County Symphony Orchestra and a freelance performer around Fort Wayne. I also maintain active private students and a musical network.

My journey at Pearl Arts started as an instructor, but at that time in our academy, there were no oboists. I asked to be switched to the administrative side of our operations part-time, which quickly became full-time. I do also have a bachelor’s degree in business administration, which has allowed me to help Pearl Arts and our team continually improve our business and serve our mission. I am so grateful to Pearl Arts for giving me a new title as the Manager of Finance and Academy Programs. I truly believe in the work that we do every day, and I am so glad to be a small part of connecting our community with music.”
