Instructor Spotlight: Bri Revis
Bri learned to play the guitar from her older brother, whom she watched play in various metal bands across Fort Wayne since she was little. Bri has since moved on to focus on mastering the most hardcore of instruments – the cello. A big part of what appealed to her about music was the sense of overcoming challenges and witnessing her own personal growth every time she practiced. After Bri graduated from high school in 2023, she immediately began teaching others and leading small group music lessons. She’s currently studying both psychology and music at Purdue University Fort Wayne, where she also regularly performs as part of the PFW orchestra. When not wielding a cello bow, Bri loves spending time outdoors, playing outdoor games and sports. Her favorite music artists include the Foo Fighters, Clairo, and Big Thief.
“I enjoy teaching at Pearl Arts because I get to see the benefit of working one-on-one with a student, helping them to understand their strengths and weaknesses, and creating ways to help them overcome those challenges in a way that works for them.” – Bri Revis
