As Pearl Arts celebrates its two‑year anniversary, I find myself reflecting on how much can happen when a community believes in the power of creativity. What began as a bold vision — to expand access to high‑quality arts education and creative workforce training — has grown into a vibrant, multi-generational hub of music, learning, collaboration, and community. After such a short time of opening our doors, Pearl Arts is experiencing a trajectory of growth that is revolutionary and transformative. And, as we enter year three, I want to personally thank you for your extraordinary generosity and support.

In just two years, Pearl Arts has experienced remarkable growth. Enrollment has increased by more than 40%, with students now representing over 83 different schools and 26 school districts across Northeast Indiana. Our programs have expanded to include many classes and ensembles, from pre-kindergarten music to adult ensembles, Music Therapy programs, music technology and entrepreneurship classes, summer camps, and an amazing Master Class. We’ve welcomed hundreds of new families, strengthened partnerships with community organizations and educators, and activated our studios and classrooms nearly every day of the week with approximately 60 talented teachers and instructors.

Most importantly, the impact is visible not only in numbers, but in the stories behind them. We’ve seen students build academic confidence through music; students prepare for the workforce with new creative technology skills; and families discover a place where they learn, grow, and are celebrated. We love parent testimonials when they share that their children have improved. We hear stories of increased confidence, better grades, and more engagement with activities after students engage with Pearl Arts programs. We are celebrating students entering college and having opportunities to perform at top levels in music. These real-life stories affirm that our mission is resonating.

As we enter our third year, we remain committed to innovation, access, and excellence. We will continue expanding pathways for youth and adults, deepening partnerships and opportunities for our community to join our mission, and building a sustainable model that ensures Pearl Arts remains a cornerstone of creative opportunity in our region.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Your support, participation, and belief in Pearl Arts make this work possible. Together, we celebrate two years of Pearl Arts and look ahead to many more years of meaningful, transformative progress to come.
